Our Federation appreciates the DOP for extending the recognition of the trade Union facilities of service unions up to 31.03.2021, due to the dreaded pandemic and consequences.
It is imperative that the same facilities of extension of trade union facility is very much required at the grass-root level; that is the Circle/Division Union, for the day to day smooth functioning of the system. In fact, the letter referred above implies the same however at various levels the officers may interpret differently as per their understanding as it is not explicit. Therefore it is required the explicit mention of Division/Circle for which the same facility be extended.
My Federation requests the DOP to address immediately to all the Heads of the Circle to extend the trade union facility to the Division/Circle Union, as given in the case of the All India Unions, to redress their grievance in the framework of the CCS (RSA) Rules 1993.
A line in reply on the subject is highly solicited.
