is thinking about possible cut of pay of officials in the lines of cut
to MPs governors and president -.
Sri Dr Santhosh Kumar Member (p) called me today and discussed the following issues . 1. About FNPO issue of extending insurance coverage to the staff in case of eventuality as extended to other officials working during this period. The government examined with oriental and found not feasible. Therefore Government examining payment of exgratia in case of eventuality during the course of lockdown due to Covid 19.
2. Regarding the verification of membership for recognition the government will defer. 3. The government is thinking about possible cut of pay of officials in the lines of cut to MPs governors and president .
The member (p) asked the opinion of the Federation. Then I expressed that ours is declared as essential service and we are working in critical times. So this pay cut is not so feasible . Then he appreciated the exemplary work we are doing. I informed the member that I will get the opinion of all my affiliated unions/ General secretaries and thereafter I convey the stand of federation. Therefore I request the General secretaries to convey the opinion about the proposal of pay cut of officials . B.Shivakumar.
