CBS-CTS Integration - Final window for clearance of PENDING OUTWARD CHEQUES On 02.09.2021
I am directed to convey the following
This is regarding handling of the following scenario
“Cheques scanned in CTS application but not lodged in Finacle”
As
a process, Outward cheques are to be scanned in CTS and to be lodged in
Finacle on same day. But it is learnt that outward cheques were scanned
in CTS few weeks before but not lodged in finacle. Inspite of opening
window for clearing pendencies, we are getting several mails on varied
scenarios on outward clearing without proper sanction or clearance list.
In order to clear all the pending outward cheques which were SCANNED
AND CLEARED in CTS application but not lodged in Finacle, outward cheque
clearing menu (HOCTM) will be enabled on 02/09/2021 at 1100 hrs to 1300
hrs. The following menus will be available for identified work users .
HMCLZOH, HOCTM, HOCTV, HMICZ, HICTM, HPR
The
above menus will be made available for 2 Supervisor role users in HOs.
Separate work class will be provided to these identified users. HOs are
requested to share the following information for tomorrow’s activity

HOs
are requested to kindly lodge the cheques which were cleared in CTS
application tomorrow without fail. This will be final window for
clearance of pending cheques. HOCTM menu will not be enabled after
02/09/2021.
CPCs
are requested to kindly share the above information for completion of
pending outward cheques. Outward rejection menus are also made available
during the above window.
This has approval of competent authority.
