Crisis deepens as global tally hits a million
The global Covid-19 tally has gone well past a
million now and casualties are well over 50,000. In view of the
deepening crisis, the World Bank announced $160 billion in aid to help
stricken countries. That includes $1 billion in emergency
funds for India.
In the meantime, fears over the economy are rising and the Tablighi Jamaat infection trail is getting more and more complicated.
