To

Respected sir,
Sub: Suggestions of FNPO
on the recommendations of Committee’s
Modifications and better system in verification process for
Recognition of
Associations-Reg
Ref: Your No. F No. 09-01/2018-SR
dated 1st June, 2020.
On the letter under reference my
Federation wants to submit the following points for your consideration and
necessary action thereof.
The committee which was appointed for
better system in verification process for recognition of associations and the
suggested recommendations by it makes verification process a mockery besides jeopardizing
the fundamental freedom of Trade Union.
The association which does not secure
requisite percentage can easily approach court of law and get a stay citing the
lacunas of the system if implemented in entirety.
We were under the impression that the
new system will make it simple. But the committee after five meetings, has made
recommendations which is not either totally online or manual. The
recommendations are complicated, instead of making it simple it has made
cumbersome.
Therefore, my federation wants a
separate meeting with staff side to discuss thoroughly to iron out the
ambiguities of the recommendations. The meeting may be scheduled after the
normalcy is restored in the light of COVID-19.
With regard to GDS the suggestion made
by the committee is not acceptable. Hence my federation apposes in Toto any move
on the recommendations, such action not only undermines the interest of the
Service associations and it is totally unconstitutional.
In anticipation of early reply
Yours Sincerely
[B.Shivakumar]
Secretary General [FNPO]
