All eyes on Modi now
With India caught between rising Covid cases and a
choking economy, no conclusion for tomorrow — the day the 21-day
lockdown is supposed to end — looks foregone. Nothing appears an
open-and-shut case at this point — neither extending the
lockdown nor lifting it. We'll only know at 10 am tomorrow when Modi
addresses the nation.
In the meantime, confirmed cases in the country crossed 9,000 today, and more than 300 are now dead.
