Dear collegues,
You are aware of-late Postal Department is not ready to
here our genuine grievances despite our sincere personal attempts and
submitting letters to the officer concern. Every day new business
introduced by the Department without consulting Unions. CSI & PNOP
implementation caused the working atmosphere in all Post offices
enormous miseries. Department is not reedy to here our sincere
suggestion. CSI implemented without providing adequate bandwidth server
connectivity.The retirement vacancies are not filed up in time according
to our information nearly 25,000 Postman vacancies are lying vacant
across the country. NPS Employees are cheated by this Government.

19/10/2018 FNPO & NFPE affiliated Postmen & MTS Gr-C unions
General secretaries met and decided to organise county-wide agitation
Charter of Demands & Agitational programmes Furnished below.
Charter of Demands
1) To fill up all vacant posts (2009 To 2018) of Postman &as per new recruitment rules- 2018.
2) Grant Additional justified Postman post in India Post,
according to the need of delivery of Postal articles..Pick up articles ,
IPPB Works, and other works

Regarding MTS Recruitment through Casual Laborers - As per latest
recruitment rules for MTS, casual labourers appointed before 01.09.1993
are only eligible. Since the orders for non recruitment of Casual
Labourers are issued on 01.12.2010, the Casual Labourers appointed by
this date should be considered eligible for MTS quota through Casual
Labourers.

Request for modification in D.Gs Order No DGPRTNo.31-38/79 PE-l dated
22.05.1979 or given additional time factor for door to door delivery of
unaccountable article in multistory buildings
5) Stop delivery of Speed Post, parcel & Register letters through outsiders and agencies.(OPA)
6) Stop nodel system to deliver Speed Post & Parcel
7) Consulate Unions before introducing any new business .
8) Dress allowance should be increased from Rs- 5000/- to 10,000/-
9) Periodicals meeting should be Regular conducted by the
Directorate as per rules on the subject. In DO,RO,CO,RJCM.and DIRECTOR
LEVEL Periodical. & Departmen council meeting
10) Time factor should be fixed for all New Business.to postman,MTS & others employees
11)Cadre Restructuring of Postman/MTS- As like cadre restructuring of PA/SA cadres, there should be cadre restructuring in Postman/MTS Cadre and
supervisory posts like Head Postman, Sorting Postman, Mail Overseer,
Cash Overseer etc. should be created for promotional avenues to
Postman/MTS
12) Request to settle all MACP related issues within the time frame.
13) Grant cash handing allowance and Fix Cash limit to cash overseer.postman & Provide Insurance to case protection
14) Provide x-ray scanning Machine in all delivery Post offices.(Parcel delivery hub)
15) Computer Advance to Postma6ytn/MTS - In the dynamic phase of
computerization in DOP, all the employees including Postman/MTS are
expected to be computer literate. In this regard we demand to make
available maximum funds for granting computer advance to Postman/MTS
Staff.
16) Timely repair all Postal staff quarters.
17)Permit Graduate Postman & MTS to write IPO & AAO exams directly.
18)The training period should be included for all purposes.
19)Fix Minimum qualification10+2 for Postman and fix 2400-Grade pay
