Recently a new Gazette Notification is issued by the Department of Posts (India Post) regarding Postal Assistant Sorting Assistant (PASA) recruitment rule 2022. As per this Gazette notification, educational qualification for PA SA exam will be changed from 12th standard to Graduate level. It means new candidate requires a bachelor's degree for appearing in PA SA (Postal Assistant and Sorting Assistant) recruitment exam.

regarding PA SA recruitment rule 2022.
Following post office recruitment will come under the New recruitment rule 2022 -
- Postal Assistant (Circle office and Regional Office)
- Postal Assistant (In the Foreign post organizations in Chennai, Delhi, Kolkata, and Mumbai)
- Postal Assistant (SBCO)
- Postal Assistant (Post Office)
- Sorting Assistant (RMS)
Postal Assistant (PA) recruitment educational qualification
Postal Assistant Classification- General Central Service, Group C Non-Gazetted Ministerial
Pay Matrix Level for PA- Level 4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs 25500-81100)
Educational qualifications and other qualifications required for recruitment of PA-
(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute; and (ii) knowledge of working on Computer.
Sorting Assistant (SA) recruitment educational qualification
Sorting Assistant Classification- General Central Service, Group C Non-Gazetted Ministerial
Pay Matrix Level for SA- Level 4 in the Pay Matrix (Rs 25500-81100)
Educational qualifications and other qualifications required for recruitment of SA-
(i) Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University or Institute; and (ii) knowledge of working on Computer.
