The World of Statistics has published new data on average monthly salaries worldwide to mark International Labour Day. According to the report, the average salary in India is less than ₹50,000, although this figure does not exclusively refer to central government employee salaries. The report also indicates that 23 countries have average monthly salaries exceeding ₹1 lakh. Among the top 10 countries with the highest global salaries are Switzerland, Luxembourg, Singapore, the United States, Iceland, Qatar, Denmark, the United Arab Emirates, the Netherlands, and Australia.
