Madam,
Sub: Arbitrarily shifting of Divisional HQ from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar.
This is regarding arbitrarily shifting of Divisional HQ from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar on the plea of affectedness of asbestos roof due to recent cyclone ‘Fani’ against shifting  RMS‘N’ Divisional Cuttack  staff are now on strike from today i.e. 14.05.2019.
Two months Earlier a proposal was given to C.O by SSRM ‘N’ Division Cuttack for shifting HQr from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar as it has been approved by Directorate for construction of the new building at present Division office place. Divisional Unions of FNPO & NFPE under the banner of PJCA served strike notice from 13th March 2019 against the office shifting to Bhubaneswar and suggested to shift it in the free accommodation at Cuttack G.P.O, SSPO Cuttack and CPO premises.
The matter has brought to the notice of PJCA formed by Odisha Circle Union to the CPMG, Odisha Circle on dated 12.02.2019, 26.02.2019 and 09.03.2019 regarding restoration of industrial peace. The matter also has brought to the notice by PJCA at Directorate level. However due to Intervention of Central headquarters of service unions Circle Union made an agreement with circle administration  and strike proposal was called off  based on the assurance shifting of RMS N Division office will be stopped  further administration was informed by service unions that is there any change in this matter service the union will go on strike without any notice to the Department.
Now administration did not keep of promise, therefore, the staff went on  indefinite strike from today morning 6.00 hrs .
My CHQ request the Directorate kindly give suitable instruction to the CPMG Odisha to stop the shifting of Divisional HQ from Cuttack to Bhubaneswar at the earliest.
Your s sincerely,
N.K Tygai.
General Secretary.
