Solidarity with Brazilian Postal Unions
The Postal Service in Brazil is under attack and we are asking you to support postal workers in the Brazil. We are calling for a Day of Action, Friday 11, 2020.
The postal workers have been on strike since August 17, in resistance against attacks on their rights proposed by the Bolsonaro and Floriano Peixoto administrations. On Friday 11, in the afternoon, there will be a conciliation hearing, in which the Supreme Labour Court and the postal federations will participate. Tomorrow will be a day to reaffirm the struggle in the defense of the Post Office and worker’s rights.
UNI Americas Post & Logistics calls on all its affiliates to show solidarity with the postal workers in Brazil by:
• printing out a sign or making one and sharing it on social media using the hashtag #DefendoOsCorreios
• send video messages to UNI Americas and show your solidarity with Postal Workers in Brazil
